Some PowerPoint 2007 users may be having a problem playing videos embedded using the new PowerPoint 2010 version. This can affect the animated PowerPoint templates video playback when used with PowerPoint 2007. This is most likely do to your computer not having the most recent update for Microsoft Office. Don't worry though, there is a quick fix for this problem that will get your videos working in no time.

Animated templates require that you have installed updates for Office 2007, which are provided by Microsoft. There are a few ways you can find these updates to fix the problem with the 2007 PowerPoint software.

These free updates can be found at Microsoft and can also accessed with "Windows Update" on your computer. If you can't find where the Update is on your computer then just go to the Microsoft website and download it from there.

This is the web link to download this update from Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=b444bf18-79ea-46c6-8a81-9db49b4ab6e5&displaylang=en

So, as a PowerPoint 2007 user you will need to have the "2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service Pack2" installed on you computer. If your not positive whether the newest update is installed yet just start downloading and it will tell you if you have already installed it.

This will bring your Office 2007 version of PowerPoint back up to speed and up to date, allowing the embedded video to play correctly in the PowerPoint templates. OK, well I think your all fixed up and ready to start showing off some awesome presentations with animated PowerPoint templates.

If for some reason your video still does not play back, check you computer and make sure you have the latest version of windows media player installed on your computer.
