Search Engine Optimization In 2007 – Master Lsi To Get Top Rankings!


If you intend to market your business online, you need to learn search engine optimization basics. Today, there is no need to pay a firm to do the job for you because these firm are not more advanced than the SE when it comes to get high website ranking.

Beware, many companies will ask you $500 to $2000 to optimize your website when you can do this job yourself, or at least hire someone to do it for you at for example.

Search Engine Optimization is a hidden science. I mean that nobody really knows what the search engine really want, it is pure speculation.

As an example, three years ago, everybody was telling you that you need to get your keyword in the title, in the first header, in your first paragraph (preferably at the beginning), and then one time in each paragraph…

If you take in consideration the fact that LSI is coming stronger and fighting against junk websites, you could give up and stop any SEO efforts. You shouldn't do that.

So what you need to do to get top search engine rankings?

The first thing that you need to do is to educate yourself and have a plan. Choosing the most appropriate keywords for your website and repeating them in your page is not really dead.

To go further, you still need to learn these two essentials:

On-Page Optimization
Off-Page Optimization

The first aspect of SEO, ?On-Page Optimization?, consist in choosing the right keywords for your site along with the good title and Meta tags.

This part is still valid, however there are little change that you need to know to get an edge over your competitors:

Your on-page optimization should be a visitor optimization. Just read this article again, and you will see that I didn't repeat my keywords in every paragraph. I am just writing good content (I hope) that benefit you, the reader.

However, there is something that you didn't noticed. Actually, I follow the LSI rule.

What is LSI?

LSI stands for Latent Semantic Indexing. Rather than trying to give you a complicate definition of LSI, I am going to make this simple.

Google will know spider the top websites for your keywords, and extract all the related keywords. The spider will then come to your page, and if it can't find all these related keywords, your ranking may suffer.

Why? Simply because Google spider will decide that your site is not an expert on this subject, and hence you are not relevant for the search and don't deserve the first page (or top 10 rankings.)

Deliver, over deliver, try your best to provide quality articles and the reward is inevitable.
